ELV Solutions Architect – Abuja & Lagos

About the role

Pestra Limited is looking for an ELV Solutions Architect to join its technical solutions team in Abuja and Lagos. You will design, develop and support integrated extra‑low voltage systems for a range of commercial, government, industrial and critical infrastructure projects.

Key responsibilities

• Design complete ELV solutions covering security, safety, ICT and building technology.
• Prepare technical proposals, system architecture, BOQs and compliance documents.
• Develop solutions for CCTV, access control, intrusion detection, fire alarm, public address, structured cabling, AV systems, BMS integration and data networks.
• Review client requirements, tender documents and technical specifications.
• Conduct site surveys and produce technical reports, design recommendations and implementation plans.
• Select appropriate technologies, products and vendors; create system block diagrams, single‑line diagrams, network topology and rack layouts.
• Support sales and business development with technical presentations and solution demonstrations.
• Ensure compliance with standards, safety requirements and industry best practices.
• Assist with cost estimation, value engineering and technical clarifications during execution.
• Provide technical guidance to installation, commissioning and support teams.

Required profile

• B.Sc., B.Eng., HND or equivalent in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering, Telecommunications, ICT or related field.
• Minimum 3 years experience in ELV, security systems, ICT infrastructure or systems integration.
• At least 2 years experience in solution design, presales engineering or technical proposal development.
• Professional certifications such as CCNA, CompTIA Network+, OEM certifications (Bosch, Johnson Controls, Honeywell) are an advantage.
• Project management certification (PMP, PRINCE2) is a plus.
