Electrical Technician – Pharmaceutical Manufacturing

About the role

Emzor Pharmaceutical Industries Limited is seeking proactive Electrical Technicians to maintain and optimise the electrical infrastructure of its manufacturing plants in Sagamu (Ogun) and Lagos. The role involves supervising electricians, ensuring compliance with GMP and safety standards, and supporting continuous production reliability.

Key responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and corrective actions on electrical panels, control systems, production equipment and industrial automation devices.
• Support audits and inspections by maintaining accurate documentation and ensuring regulatory readiness.
• Oversee safe operation of backup power systems, switchgear, lighting, motors and distribution boards.
• Coordinate installation and commissioning of new electrical components and system upgrades.
• Maintain up‑to‑date electrical manuals, schematics and system diagrams.
• Troubleshoot electrical faults in collaboration with production and QA/QC teams.
• Monitor energy consumption and propose efficiency and cost‑reduction measures.

Required profile

• OND in Electrical/Electronic Engineering (NABTEB).
• Relevant experience in electrical maintenance within pharmaceutical, FMCG or manufacturing environments.
• Understanding of GMP, WHO and NAFDAC compliance requirements.
• Strong documentation and reporting abilities.
