Educational Consultant

About the role

The Educational Consultant will support prospective students in navigating international study options, from selecting suitable programmes to completing applications. You will act as a trusted advisor, helping clients achieve their academic goals while ensuring a smooth admission process.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct consultations to assess clients' academic profiles and study objectives.
• Advise on appropriate universities, programmes, and study destinations.
• Guide students through the admission and application process.
• Assist with scholarship applications and funding opportunities.
• Review Statements of Purpose, Personal Statements, academic CVs, and supporting documents.
• Ensure applications are complete, accurate, and submitted before deadlines.
• Maintain regular communication with clients throughout the process.
• Provide up‑to‑date information on admission requirements and visa procedures.
• Stay informed about international education trends and admission policies.
• Maintain accurate client records and deliver excellent customer service.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Education, Guidance and Counselling, International Relations, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years' experience in educational consulting, international admissions, or study‑abroad advisory.
• Strong knowledge of international admissions and scholarship processes.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong counselling, interpersonal, and customer‑service abilities.
• Ability to review SOPs, Personal Statements, academic CVs, and other application documents.
• Excellent organisational and time‑management skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other productivity tools.
