E3D Model Lead & PDMS Administrator

About the role

SPIE Services Nigeria Limited is seeking an experienced E3D Model Lead & PDMS Administrator to manage and develop 3D plant models for its Project Portfolio Management organization. The role involves setting up AVEVA 3D databases, creating accurate models from engineering deliverables, and supporting multiple projects across the oil, gas and renewable energy sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Set up and administer AVEVA 3D databases and multidisciplinary support systems (MDS) for the PPM organization.
• Develop, maintain and update 3D plant models using AVEVA E3D based on approved drawings, P&IDs, specifications and client standards.
• Create and modify equipment, piping, structural steel, supports, platforms and other components within the E3D environment.
• Perform clash detection, model validation and design checks, coordinating with other disciplines to resolve spatial conflicts.
• Generate model‑derived deliverables such as isometric drawings, general arrangement drawings and orthographic views.

Required profile

• Degree or Diploma in Engineering Design or Drafting; B.Eng. / B.Tech is an advantage.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in AVEVA E3D/PDMS modelling and management, preferably in oil & gas, petrochemical or industrial facilities.
• Proven experience with Navisworks, AutoCAD and point‑cloud processing.
• Strong knowledge of plant design, constructability, operability and multidisciplinary coordination.
