About the role
The Drilling Well Intervention Subsea Advisor III will act as the primary liaison for subsea pressure control equipment and lead technical coordination on high‑impact offshore projects. This senior position requires hands‑on expertise in subsea well intervention, risk management, and project integration.
Key responsibilities
- Interface with subsea trees, hangers, wellheads, and pressure control equipment including BOPs, SSTT, CWOR, and LWI systems.
- Lead and witness Surface Integrity Tests (SITs), Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) and Extended FAT to ensure equipment reliability.
- Develop and manage deployment and retrieval procedures for subsea equipment and ROV tooling, adhering to safety and design specifications.
- Conduct subsea and ROV‑specific risk assessments for drilling, completions, and well‑intervention phases.
- Monitor and support subsea and ROV service providers, providing expert troubleshooting for pressure control issues.
- Manage complex project interfaces, including simultaneous drilling and production procedures, to integrate with existing subsea systems.
Required profile
- Minimum 10 years progressive experience in subsea completion, workover, and light well‑intervention operations.
- Proven technical leadership and ability to influence multidisciplinary teams.
- Strong organizational and project‑management capabilities with high‑quality documentation skills.
- Excellent written and spoken English for communication across international and cultural environments.
- Willingness to work onsite in remote, harsh environments and travel as project schedules demand.
