Director, Partnerships and Programs

About the role

The Director, Partnerships and Programs will lead the development and management of strategic relationships with governments, NGOs, corporations and philanthropic organisations. Reporting to the Executive Director, this senior role will shape partnership strategy, support program design and ensure effective communication of impact to donors and stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, build and nurture relationships with existing and potential partners across sectors.
• Develop and manage strategic partnerships to expand the organisation’s reach and impact.
• Lead stakeholder communication, ensuring alignment of programmes with partner expectations.
• Support programme design, implementation strategy, research and evaluation methods.
• Analyse systematic data to inform programme decisions and report outcomes.
• Provide direction to the New Business Development and Communications teams.
• Represent the NGO at conferences, events and forums to advocate its mission.

Required profile

• Proven experience in partnership development and management within the nonprofit or health sector.
• Strong leadership and communication skills, with ability to engage senior stakeholders.
• Experience designing and implementing programmes, including monitoring and evaluation.
• Ability to translate data insights into strategic decisions.
• Track record of identifying new business opportunities and driving growth.
