Digital Media & Broadcast Technology Manager

About the role

Glow FM 99.1 is seeking a dynamic professional to lead its digital and broadcast technology ecosystem. You will ensure the smooth operation of radio transmission, online streaming, website content, podcasts, and social media channels while driving audience growth through modern digital tools.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and maintain the station’s IT infrastructure, including computers, networking, and internet connectivity.
• Oversee radio broadcasting and audio streaming systems to guarantee uninterrupted transmission.
• Maintain and regularly update the station’s website and coordinate podcast publishing.
• Administer social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, X, TikTok, YouTube) and schedule digital content.
• Provide technical support to on‑air personalities, producers, and studio staff during live broadcasts.
• Monitor live streaming platforms, ensure cybersecurity, perform data backups, and uphold system reliability.
• Design and implement digital strategies to expand the online audience and manage digital assets such as audio archives and graphics.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Computer Science, IT, Media Technology, or a related field.
• Strong interest in media, broadcasting, and digital innovation.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to troubleshoot technical issues quickly in a live environment.
