Digital Content Officer

About the role

The Digital Content Officer will join KOVIO‑NG’s marketing team in Lagos, working in a hybrid setting to create and manage engaging digital content across the company’s website, social channels and newsletters. You will help shape the online voice of Nigeria’s leading event marketplace, ensuring consistency and relevance for both vendors and event‑goers.

Key responsibilities

• Write, edit and publish web copy, blog posts and a weekly newsletter for all users.
• Plan, create and schedule content for Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn and other platforms.
• Maintain and update content in the company’s Content Management System.
• Monitor engagement metrics, produce performance reports and suggest optimisation tactics.
• Collaborate with marketing, product and vendor teams to align content with campaign goals.
• Stay up‑to‑date with digital marketing trends and event‑industry developments.

Required profile

• Strong writing and web‑content skills with a focus on clarity and user experience.
• Experience using Content Management platforms and managing publishing workflows.
• Proven ability to plan and analyse social‑media content.
• Excellent communication and teamwork, able to work independently in a hybrid environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Media or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
