Digital Content & Growth Associate

About the role

Takeout Media is looking for a Digital Content & Growth Associate to shape and execute its multi‑platform content strategy. You will be responsible for creating, publishing and analysing short‑form video and social media posts that drive audience growth and engagement across Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube, X/Twitter and Facebook.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a content calendar, planning at least two weeks ahead.
• Identify content opportunities from company activities, projects, expertise and industry trends.
• Produce end‑to‑end short‑form video content (concept, script, shoot, direct, edit, publish) for each platform.
• Repurpose long‑form assets into platform‑optimised reels, TikToks and Shorts.
• Publish consistently across all channels, optimizing captions, hooks, hashtags and formats.
• Monitor engagement metrics and amplify high‑performing posts.
• Drive internal team participation by building prompts, shoot schedules and request forms.
• Track platform performance (reach, views, watch time, follower growth) and produce regular insight reports.

Required profile

• HND or equivalent in Communications, Marketing, Media, Digital Marketing or related field.
• 1‑3 years experience creating digital content or managing social media platforms.
• Portfolio demonstrating short‑form video work (Reels, TikToks, etc.).
• Hands‑on experience shooting and editing video.
• Strong understanding of platform algorithms, trends and audience behaviour.
• Basic proficiency with native analytics tools.

Required skills

• Video editing tools: CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro (or equivalent).
• Graphic design tools: Canva, Figma, Adobe Suite.
• Social media scheduling tools: Later, Buffer, Hootsuite.
• Platform analytics (native insights dashboards).
• Photography and UGC‑style content creation.
• AI‑assisted workflow integration.
