About the role
The DICTION/PHONICS TEACHER is a full‑time, on‑site position at Lesson360 in Awka. You will plan and deliver age‑appropriate lessons that develop learners' diction, phonics, pronunciation and oral communication skills.
Key responsibilities
- Record high‑quality diction lessons for virtual learning.
- Develop clear, engaging, curriculum‑aligned lesson scripts.
- Track learner performance and assess progress.
- Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum improvement.
- Participate in training sessions and staff meetings.
Required profile
- Strong teaching and training abilities, especially in phonics and diction.
- Solid lesson‑planning and educational design skills.
- Excellent spoken English, active listening and constructive feedback.
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Linguistics, English or related field (preferred).
- Prior classroom experience in language arts, phonics or diction (highly beneficial).
- Ability to manage a dynamic classroom and adapt methods to diverse learning styles.
- Commitment to learner‑centered teaching and continuous professional development.
