Diagnostic Sonographer – Full‑time (Nigeria)

About the role

The Sonographer at Karevault will perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations—including abdominal, obstetric, gynecologic, vascular and other studies—according to clinician requests. This full‑time, on‑site role supports faster diagnosis, continuous monitoring and improved patient outcomes within Karevault’s digital healthcare ecosystem.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare patients for ultrasound procedures and ensure comfort.
• Operate ultrasound equipment to acquire high‑quality diagnostic images.
• Document findings accurately in electronic health records following Karevault’s workflows.
• Collaborate closely with physicians and multidisciplinary teams.
• Follow established imaging protocols and maintain equipment.
• Adhere to safety and infection‑control standards.
• Provide clear, compassionate communication to patients.

Required profile

• Clinical and medical knowledge in medicine and radiology to perform and interpret sonographic procedures.
• Professional certification such as ARDMS and/or ARRT, or equivalent credentials.
• Specialized expertise in vascular ultrasound imaging.
• Diploma or degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography, Radiography, or a related field from an accredited institution.
• Experience in outpatient or primary‑care settings, preferably within technology‑enabled healthcare.
• Strong attention to detail and image quality when using ultrasound equipment and EHR systems.
