Dental Technologist

About the role

The Dental Technologist will work on‑site at DGS Medical Limited’s fully equipped dental clinic in Abuja. You will design, fabricate and repair a range of dental prostheses while collaborating closely with dentists and oral health professionals.

Key responsibilities

• Interpret dental prescriptions and select appropriate materials for crowns, bridges, dentures and orthodontic appliances.
• Design, fabricate, adjust and repair dental prostheses using laboratory equipment.
• Operate and maintain dental lab machinery, ensuring a clean, safe environment and compliance with infection‑control and quality‑assurance protocols.
• Document work according to clinic standards and support continuous improvement of dental services.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Dental Technology or a closely related field from an accredited institution.
• Previous experience in a dental laboratory or clinical dental setting is highly beneficial.
• Strong attention to detail, manual dexterity and problem‑solving abilities.
• Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with dentists and other healthcare professionals.
• Commitment to professional ethics, patient‑centered care and continuous learning.
