Data Analysis Instructor – Onsite Teaching Role

About the role

IJAN Africa is seeking a Data Analysis Instructor to join its Lagos campus on a contract basis. You will lead classroom sessions, guide students through real‑world data projects and help them build advanced analytical capabilities.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver engaging lessons on data analysis concepts and techniques.
• Mentor students through hands‑on data modeling projects.
• Prepare and update course materials, slides and exercises.
• Design and administer assessments to evaluate learning outcomes.
• Provide constructive feedback to support student progress.

Required profile

• Strong analytical background with expertise in data analytics and data modeling.
• Proficiency in statistics and statistical tools for data analysis.
• Effective communication skills to simplify complex concepts.
• Prior teaching, mentoring or training experience is a plus.
• Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science or a related field.
• Willingness to work on‑site in Lagos, Nigeria.
