Cybersecurity Systems Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a skilled Cybersecurity Systems Engineer to join our technology team. You will design, implement, and manage security solutions that protect enterprise systems, networks, applications, cloud environments, and data. The role combines hands‑on technical work with collaboration across infrastructure, network, and cloud teams.

Key responsibilities

• Implement, configure, and support cybersecurity solutions for enterprise clients.
• Maintain and operate security technologies such as EDR/XDR, SIEM, WAF, DLP, IAM, PAM, email security, firewalls, and vulnerability management tools.
• Monitor, investigate, and respond to security alerts, incidents, and system issues.
• Assist with vulnerability assessments, security reviews, remediation tracking, and compliance support.
• Prepare technical documentation, implementation reports, and support handover documents.
• Collaborate with infrastructure, network, and cloud teams to ensure secure system deployment and operations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity engineering, security operations, or systems security support.
• Hands‑on experience with enterprise security tools and infrastructure.
• Good understanding of networking, operating systems, cloud security, identity security, and security best practices.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., Security+, CEH, CySA+, Microsoft Security, Cisco Security, ISO 27001) are a plus.
