Cyber Security Specialist

About the role

The Cyber Security Specialist will protect the client’s digital assets, including industrial control systems, by ensuring confidentiality, integrity, and availability. This role involves monitoring, incident response, and continuous improvement of security processes within a fast‑growing environment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide security monitoring and incident response services aligned with the organization’s cyber security mission.
• Lead investigations into network intrusions, cyber‑security breaches, and coordinate responses to complex attacks.
• Develop and improve security monitoring tools, incident response processes, and digital forensics solutions.
• Research, recommend, and implement solutions for incident response and digital forensics.
• Document security breaches, assess damage, and work with the security team to test and remediate network vulnerabilities.
• Perform penetration testing and assist colleagues in installing and understanding security software.

Required profile

• B.Sc. in Computer Science or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in cyber security, focusing on application, operating system, and database security.
• Relevant industry certifications such as CISSP, CISA, CRISC, CISM, CompTIA Security+, CCNA Security, or similar.

Required skills

• CompTIA Security+ certification.
• CCNA Routing & Switching and CCNA Security.
• Proficiency with Windows, Unix, and Linux operating systems.
• Experience with security platforms such as Fortinet, ESET, Check Point, and Microsoft security solutions.
• Knowledge of penetration testing and digital forensics tools.
