Creche Teacher

About the role

The Creche Teacher will nurture young learners in a Montessori‑based environment, delivering play‑focused lessons that support holistic development from infancy to early childhood.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver age‑appropriate, play‑based lessons aligned with early years learning goals.
• Adapt teaching strategies to meet the needs of individual learners, including those with additional needs.
• Support children’s social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development.
• Observe, assess, and document learning progress.
• Promote inclusive practices and celebrate diversity in the classroom.
• Maintain a safe, inclusive, and inspiring classroom environment.
• Build strong, respectful relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
• Collaborate with the teaching team and participate in school events and professional development.
• Ensure children’s safety, well‑being, and positive behaviour at all times.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience working with children aged 5 months to 5 years.
• Recognized qualification in Early Childhood Education (e.g., Montessori Diploma, EYTS, ECE Diploma) or equivalent.
• Familiarity with safeguarding and child protection procedures.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
