Corporate & Projects Finance Manager

About the role
TORQ is a fast‑growing global commodities platform seeking a highly analytical finance professional to support its expansion across Europe, Asia and Africa. The role sits at the core of TORQ’s growth engine, helping leadership structure transactions, create institutional‑grade materials, and engage with global financial counterparties.
Key responsibilities
- Build advanced financial models, including integrated 3‑statement, project finance, trade finance, acquisition, and investment models.
- Develop cash‑flow projections, borrowing‑base models, covenant forecasts, and conduct scenario & sensitivity analyses.
- Prepare high‑quality capital‑raise materials such as information memorandums, bank decks, credit papers, investor presentations, and business plans.
- Support fundraising processes with banks, NBFCs, private credit funds, and DFIs, and respond to lender due‑diligence requests.
- Assist M&A initiatives with financial analysis, valuation, and transaction documentation.
- Conduct industry and competitor research to inform strategic decisions.
- Translate leadership vision into structured financial narratives for board‑level and investor audiences.
- Collaborate with trading, operations, risk teams and external advisors to gather assumptions and validate projections.
Required profile
- MBA or Master’s in Finance, Banking, Investment Banking, or equivalent from a reputable institution.
- CA or CFA candidates with strong modelling experience are also welcome.
- 5–7 years of experience in investment banking, corporate finance, structured finance, private credit, Big‑4 transaction advisory, or infrastructure finance.
