Contract Manager

About the role

The Contract Manager will oversee vessel contracts from the moment a vessel is hired until it is returned, ensuring compliance with charter party terms and maintaining strong client relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Manage all vessel contracts from on‑hire through off‑hire in line with applicable charter parties.
• Serve as the principal point of contact for clients throughout the charter term.
• Review scopes of work for enquiries and tenders to confirm that vessels, crew and supporting organisations meet operational requirements.
• Inform the Commercial team of any downtime, deviations or issues that could affect invoicing or client relations.
• Coordinate regularly with the Offshore Director and commercial team to visit clients and represent the company within the energy and marine community.

Required profile

• Proven ability to act as the main liaison between the company and charter clients.
• Strong understanding of charter party documentation and vessel operational capabilities.
• Experience reviewing technical scopes of work and tender documents.
• Effective coordination skills with offshore and commercial functions.
