About the role

Unilever is looking for a Consumer & Market Insight Brand & Consumer Specialist to join its CMI (Consumer and Market Insight) function in Lagos. The role combines data‑driven analysis with brand storytelling to help shape brand strategy, drive innovation and improve consumer experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with brand and marketing teams to translate complex data sets (UBS, BGS, social and search insights, trends, primary research) into actionable growth ideas.
• Lead innovation and renovation research, media testing, and deployment optimisation to build consumer‑centric growth stories.
• Support the CMI Growth Partner by delivering specialist analytics, measuring brand love, and evaluating experience performance.
• Develop and present customer growth narratives for new product concepts and track their impact.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional partners, including CSP, country GMs and leadership, to ensure insights are integrated into decision‑making.
