Computer Numerical Control (CNC) Machinist

About the role

We are seeking a hands‑on CNC Machinist to set up, program and operate computer‑numerical‑control machines that produce precision components. The successful candidate will work from engineering drawings, ensure quality standards are met and keep the equipment running smoothly.

Key responsibilities

• Set up, program and operate CNC machines according to technical drawings and production schedules.
• Interpret blueprints, dimensions and work instructions to guarantee accurate part production.
• Inspect finished parts using calipers, micrometers and other precision measuring tools.
• Perform routine maintenance, cleaning and troubleshooting of electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Diagnose and repair faults in motors, drives, hydraulics and pneumatics.
• Record production data and ensure compliance with health, safety and quality standards.
• Identify process inefficiencies and suggest improvements.

Required profile

• OND, Technical Certificate, Trade Test or equivalent; CNC machining certification is a plus.
• 3–5 years of experience operating CNC machines in a manufacturing environment.
• Hands‑on experience with electrical and mechanical maintenance of CNC equipment.
