Computer Hardware & GSM Repair & Maintenance Facilitator

About the role

Skills Academy is seeking a full‑time facilitator to deliver practical and theoretical training on computer hardware and GSM phone repair. Based on‑site in Ibadan, you will guide learners through hands‑on workshops, ensuring they acquire job‑ready skills in hardware maintenance and troubleshooting.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and update training materials, lesson plans, and lab resources.
• Conduct classroom sessions and hands‑on workshops on computer hardware assembly, repair, and maintenance.
• Teach GSM device diagnostics, hardware repairs, and basic software fixes.
• Supervise learner practice, enforce safety protocols, and assess performance.
• Maintain training equipment, troubleshoot lab issues, and contribute to curriculum improvements.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of computer hardware components and repair processes.
• Hands‑on experience with GSM phone repair and hardware diagnostics.
• Previous experience as a trainer, instructor, or facilitator in a technical or vocational setting is an advantage.
• Relevant technical certification or diploma in computer engineering, electronics, ICT, or a related field.
• Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
