Community Manager

About the role

Conclase is seeking a full‑time Community Manager to join its hybrid team in Lagos. The role focuses on building, engaging, and nurturing both online and offline communities of tech talent, learners, startup founders, and client organisations.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and execute community engagement initiatives across social media, forums and offline events.
• Manage social media platforms, online forums and respond to community inquiries.
• Moderate discussions to maintain a supportive and inclusive environment.
• Organise meet‑ups, webinars and other community events.
• Gather feedback from members and share insights with internal recruiting, education and startup support teams.
• Create community‑focused content and report on engagement metrics.
• Identify opportunities to strengthen Conclase’s presence within the tech ecosystem.

Required profile

• Strong community management and engagement experience, including moderation and event organisation.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, with ability to tailor messaging to different audience segments.
• Proven relationship‑building and stakeholder management skills.
• Organisational and project coordination abilities, handling multiple initiatives and timelines.
• Basic understanding of the tech ecosystem; experience in tech, education or recruiting is a plus.
• Comfortable working in a hybrid environment, balancing on‑site collaboration in Lagos with remote work.
• Relevant academic background or equivalent practical experience in communications, marketing or community management.
