About the role

PyData Lagos is seeking a passionate volunteer to energize and connect its community. The Community Engagement Lead will drive conversations, encourage participation, and become a familiar friendly presence for members.

Key responsibilities

Stimulate and moderate discussions across media channels.
Encourage members to attend meetups, contribute to projects, and join discussions.
Collaborate with the content team to identify popular topics and areas needing promotion.
Act as a recognizable, approachable figure that members want to interact with.

Required profile

Enthusiastic about community building and open‑source ecosystems.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Self‑motivated and able to work independently.

Required skills
