About the role

As a Commis 1 in the Team Restaurant at Hilton, you will support daily kitchen operations and help create memorable dining experiences for guests. The role combines hands‑on food preparation with a focus on quality, consistency and hospitality.

Key responsibilities

• Lead daily kitchen operations, overseeing meal preparation, food quality and presentation.
• Select high‑quality ingredients and maintain consistent dish execution.
• Develop and implement new dishes and seasonal menus to enhance the offering.
• Control costs, monitor budgets and optimise profitability through efficient production planning.
• Manage kitchen systems, reporting and departmental coordination for smooth operations.
• Supervise, coach and recruit team members, fostering a positive work environment.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, sanitation and alcohol regulations.
