CNG Project Management Officer

About the role

The CNG Project Management Officer will lead the planning, execution, and delivery of compressed natural gas projects, ensuring they align with company standards and strategic goals. This role requires close coordination with internal teams, external partners, and vendors to drive project success.

Key responsibilities

• Lead CNG projects from initiation through completion, managing scope, schedule, and budget.
• Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and documentation.
• Coordinate with internal teams, external stakeholders, and vendors to align objectives.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks promptly.
• Prepare and present regular progress reports to senior management.
• Facilitate project meetings and ensure clear communication among all parties.
• Monitor performance metrics and KPIs to optimize outcomes.
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations, safety standards, and company policies.
• Continuously improve project processes, methodologies, and technology.
• Assist in budgeting and resource allocation for CNG initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.
• 5‑10 years of project management experience, preferably in energy or oil & gas.
• Direct experience with CNG projects is highly desirable.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and organizational skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with project management software.
• Advanced use of MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Knowledge of Agile and Lean project methodologies.
• Understanding of CNG operations, equipment, and regulatory requirements.
