CNG Operations Manager

About the role

The CNG Operations Manager will lead the overall performance, safety and reliability of the CNG compression station in Mfamosing. Reporting to senior management, you will ensure continuous gas compression, storage and dispatch while meeting all regulatory and corporate standards.

Key responsibilities

• Provide overall leadership and management of plant operations, guaranteeing uninterrupted CNG compression and dispatch.
• Develop and execute operational plans aligned with business demand and capacity requirements.
• Monitor key performance indicators such as uptime, compressor availability, throughput and turnaround time.
• Drive continuous‑improvement initiatives to increase efficiency and reduce downtime.
• Ensure strict compliance with gas‑handling, pressure‑vessel and environmental regulations; lead incident investigations and corrective actions.
• Manage operations, maintenance and support teams, ensuring proper shift coverage and competency development.
• Coordinate with logistics, engineering, external service providers and regulatory bodies.

Required profile

• Degree in Mechanical, Chemical or Electrical Engineering.
• 8–12 years of experience in gas processing, energy or industrial plant environments.
• Proven leadership experience managing industrial operations.
• Hands‑on experience with CNG station operation and CNG/LPG/Hydrocarbon plant commissioning and start‑up.
