CNC Operator – Production & Machining

About the role

We are seeking a skilled CNC Operator to join our manufacturing team in Lagos. You will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC equipment to produce high‑quality wood, plywood, and MDF components.

Key responsibilities

• Set up and run CNC routers, lathes, and milling machines, loading raw materials and aligning them correctly.
• Enter and adjust program codes for cutting, drilling, engraving, and other machining operations.
• Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and CAD/CAM files to meet design specifications.
• Perform basic machine maintenance, cleaning, lubrication, and report faults.
• Inspect finished parts using calipers and gauges, ensuring dimensional accuracy.
• Maintain a safe, organized work area and monitor material usage.
• Collaborate with designers, engineers, and supervisors to achieve production targets.

Required profile

• Proven experience operating CNC machinery in a production environment.
• Strong understanding of G‑code, M‑code, and CNC programming concepts.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality standards.
• Knowledge of workplace health and safety practices.
