CNC Operator – Manufacturing (Lagos)

About the role

We are looking for a skilled CNC Operator to join our production team in Lagos. You will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC equipment to produce high‑quality wood, plywood and MDF components.

Key responsibilities

• Set up and run CNC routers, lathes and milling machines, loading raw materials and aligning them correctly.
• Enter program codes for cutting, drilling, engraving and other machining operations.
• Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints and CAD/CAM files to adjust machine settings.
• Perform routine maintenance, cleaning and lubrication of machines and report faults.
• Inspect finished parts using calipers and gauges, making adjustments to meet dimensional standards.
• Maintain an organized work area, monitor material usage and report shortages.
• Collaborate with designers, engineers and supervisors to meet production targets.

Required profile

• Proven experience operating CNC machinery.
• Strong understanding of G‑code, M‑code and CNC programming.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Good knowledge of workplace health and safety standards.
