About the role

We are looking for a reliable Cleaner to maintain a clean and safe environment across our facilities in Port Harcourt. The role involves daily cleaning, sanitation, and upkeep of office spaces, restrooms, kitchens, and common areas.

Key responsibilities

• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and polish floors.
• Dust and wipe furniture, fixtures, and surfaces.
• Clean and sanitize restrooms, kitchens, and common areas.
• Empty trash bins and dispose of waste appropriately.
• Refill cleaning and hygiene supplies such as soap, tissue, and sanitizer.
• Clean windows, doors, and glass surfaces.
• Follow health and safety regulations when using cleaning chemicals and equipment.
• Report maintenance issues, damages, or safety hazards to management.
• Operate cleaning equipment safely and efficiently.
• Maintain cleaning tools and supplies in good condition.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Required profile

• Minimum secondary school education (preferred).
• Previous cleaning or housekeeping experience is an advantage.
• Basic understanding of cleaning procedures and safety practices.
• Attention to detail and strong time‑management skills.
• Reliability, punctuality, and good communication.
• Physical stamina for standing, lifting, bending and repetitive tasks.

Required skills

• Operation of vacuum cleaners and floor polishers.
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, supplies and equipment.
• Ability to safely handle and use cleaning tools.
