Cinematographer / Video Editor

About the role

PodPulse Studio is seeking a talented Cinematographer/Video Editor to join its creative team in Ibadan. This full‑time, on‑site position will support the production of podcasts, talk shows, interviews, and branded digital content, ensuring each piece is visually compelling and technically polished.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, set up, and execute video shoots for a variety of formats, handling camera operation, framing, and composition.
• Manage studio and location lighting to achieve consistent, high‑quality visuals.
• Collaborate with producers, hosts, and other creatives to capture the desired visual style.
• Edit raw footage, add graphics, incorporate sound elements, and perform color correction.
• Prepare final videos for digital distribution across multiple platforms.
• Maintain and organize camera equipment and media assets.
• Contribute creative ideas to enhance storytelling and audience engagement.

Required profile

• Strong background in camera operation and cinematography with an eye for composition.
• Experience in video and film production, including shoot planning and timeline management.
• Proven lighting skills for both studio and on‑location environments.
• Attention to detail, problem‑solving ability, and teamwork in a fast‑paced studio.
• Relevant education or training in film, media production, or a related field is a plus.
