Cinema Manager

About the role

The Cinema Manager will lead daily operations of the cinema, ensuring smooth service delivery and an excellent customer experience. This role combines staff leadership, financial oversight, and promotional activities to drive revenue and maintain high standards.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee day‑to‑day cinema operations, including ticketing and concessions.
• Recruit, train, schedule, and manage performance of cinema staff.
• Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback promptly.
• Monitor ticket and concession sales, set and achieve revenue targets.
• Prepare staff rosters and ensure adequate coverage.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, health & safety, and licensing regulations.
• Manage cash handling, reconcile daily sales, and produce financial reports.
• Control inventory levels for concessions and operational supplies.
• Coordinate movie scheduling, special screenings, and promotional events.
• Maintain cleanliness and functionality of projection equipment and public areas.
• Collaborate with marketing to implement campaigns and increase footfall.
• Track operational costs and implement efficiency measures.
• Prepare periodic operational and performance reports for senior management.
• Build and sustain relationships with customers, vendors, and partners.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree (BSc) required.
• Minimum of 3 years (36 months) experience in a similar cinema or entertainment management role.
• Proven ability to lead teams and manage operational budgets.
