About the role
Our client, a leading FMCG manufacturing company, is looking for an experienced Chief Information Officer to shape and execute its technology strategy. The CIO will drive digital transformation, ensure robust IT operations, and support business excellence across manufacturing, supply chain, sales, and corporate functions.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and implement an IT strategy aligned with business goals and growth plans.
- Lead planning, implementation, and continuous improvement of enterprise-wide IT infrastructure, applications, and digital initiatives.
- Oversee administration, optimization, and enhancement of ERP systems and other critical business applications.
- Establish IT governance, policies, standards, and procedures to ensure data integrity, cybersecurity, and regulatory compliance.
- Drive technology projects that improve manufacturing operations, supply chain management, inventory control, sales, and finance.
- Maintain high availability, reliability, and security of networks, servers, cloud services, and end‑user systems.
- Develop business continuity, disaster recovery, and cybersecurity frameworks.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend investments to boost productivity and automation.
- Manage IT budgets, vendor relationships, and ensure projects are delivered on scope, budget, and timeline.
- Lead, mentor, and develop the IT team, fostering innovation and continuous improvement.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Computer Engineering or related field.
- Professional certifications such as CCIE, CCNP, MCSE, RHCE/RHCA, CISSP, CISM, PMP, ITIL are highly desirable.
- Minimum 12 years of IT experience, including at least 4 years in senior management.
- Proven experience in the FMCG or manufacturing sector.
- Demonstrated success managing enterprise IT operations, ERP systems, cybersecurity, infrastructure, cloud technologies, and digital transformation projects.
