Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

About the role

The client is a well‑established Nigerian manufacturing group operating in the healthcare and pharmaceutical sector. They are seeking an exceptional Chief Financial Officer to join the Executive Leadership Team in Ilorin, Kwara State. The CFO will act as a strategic partner to the CEO and Board, driving financial stewardship and supporting long‑term growth.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute the Group’s financial strategy aligned with business objectives.
• Provide financial insights for strategic decision‑making, expansion, and profitability.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, performance management and analysis.
• Oversee treasury, liquidity, cash‑flow optimisation and working‑capital management.
• Prepare statutory and management financial reports accurately and on time.
• Lead capital‑raising initiatives and negotiate financing with banks, investors and private‑equity partners.
• Support mergers, acquisitions and other strategic investment opportunities.
• Ensure compliance with IFRS, tax regulations, statutory requirements and corporate‑governance standards.
