Chief Executive Officer (CEO)

About the role

The Visiola Foundation is seeking an accomplished Chief Executive Officer to lead its mission of empowering African girls and young women through STEM education. Reporting to the Board of Trustees and based in Abuja, the CEO will provide visionary leadership, oversee operations, and drive fundraising and partnership development.

Key responsibilities

• Provide strategic, inclusive, and transparent executive leadership aligned with the Foundation’s mission.
• Present strategic options and organizational plans to the Board and oversee their implementation.
• Optimize day‑to‑day operations to ensure program excellence, operational sustainability, and long‑term impact.
• Mentor and motivate senior leaders to expand impact, programs, and fundraising efforts.
• Develop, implement, and monitor key performance indicators and impact measurement frameworks.
• Expand the Foundation’s reach across Africa through strategic partnerships and innovative initiatives.
• Lead talent management processes including recruitment, performance management, professional development, and succession planning.

• Demonstrated passion for education, youth empowerment, and social impact.
• Exceptional leadership, financial management, stakeholder engagement, and fundraising capabilities.
• Proven ability to build high‑performing teams and scale mission‑driven organizations.
• Strong strategic thinking, performance measurement, and decision‑making skills.
