Chef – Full-time Kitchen Position

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Chef to join our kitchen team in Abuja. The role involves preparing and cooking meals to high standards while ensuring food safety and efficient service.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and cook meals according to approved recipes, menu specifications, and quality standards.
• Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene by following sanitation procedures and health regulations.
• Plan and organize food preparation to ensure timely and consistent service during meal periods.
• Monitor inventory and food supplies, minimize waste, and report replenishment needs.
• Inspect ingredients, control portion sizes, and present dishes attractively.
• Keep the kitchen clean and organized, including workstations, equipment, and storage areas.
• Supervise kitchen assistants when required and collaborate with team members to deliver an excellent dining experience.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a cook or chef in a restaurant or similar setting.
• Ability to prepare meals quickly while maintaining quality and consistency.
• Strong understanding of food safety and hygiene practices.
• Good organizational and time‑management skills and ability to work under pressure.
• Teamwork, communication skills, and creativity in menu planning and food presentation.
• Physical stamina to stand for long hours.
• Culinary certification or training is an advantage.
