Chef De Partie – Hotel Kitchen

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Chef De Partie to join our kitchen team at de meros hotel suites in Lagos. You will be responsible for preparing and cooking dishes in your designated section while maintaining the highest standards of taste, presentation, and hygiene.

Key responsibilities

• Organise mise en place and follow recipes and hotel standards for every service.
• Prepare, cook and plate dishes in your section, ensuring consistent quality.
• Supervise and train junior kitchen staff, coordinating with other sections to ensure smooth service.
• Assist in menu planning, stock control, waste reduction and uphold food safety and cleanliness requirements.
• Collaborate with the Head Chef and kitchen team during special events and peak periods.

Required profile

• Proven experience in hotel or high‑volume restaurant kitchens, preferably as a Chef De Partie or Demi Chef.
• Culinary education, apprenticeship or vocational training is an advantage.
• Willingness to work shifts, weekends and holidays as required.
• Reliability, strong attention to detail and a commitment to guest satisfaction.
