Capital Market Executive Internship – Lagos

About the role

This internship offers a hands‑on experience in capital markets, supporting senior analysts and managers with research, analysis and client interaction. Based in Lagos, you will work closely with the Capital Markets team to develop a solid understanding of equity, debt financing and market dynamics.

Key responsibilities

• Research capital market trends, financial instruments and market conditions.
• Analyse financial data and economic indicators to identify opportunities.
• Assist in managing investment portfolios and monitoring performance.
• Prepare reports, presentations and investment summaries for internal and client stakeholders.
• Support client relationship activities, including answering queries and providing insights.
• Help with capital market transactions such as equity, debt financing, mergers and acquisitions.
• Maintain documentation, ensure compliance and perform administrative tasks.
• Collaborate with the team to assess market risks and develop mitigation strategies.

Required profile

• BSc in finance, economics, accounting, computer science, engineering, estate management, law or a related field.
• Minimum of 1 year post‑NYSC experience (advantageous).
• Professional qualifications such as ACA, ACS, ACCA, ACIS, ACIB are a plus.
• Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
• Strong decision‑making, organisational and time‑management abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Age not exceeding 35 years.
