Business Retention Executive

About the role

The Business Retention Executive will manage client relationships for SUNU Health, ensuring high satisfaction and supporting the growth of the health‑insurance portfolio across Nigeria.

Key responsibilities

• Register and onboard new clients.
• Schedule and attend regular meetings with customers to maintain cordial relationships.
• Participate in quarterly sensitisation forums for all clients.
• Conduct bi‑annual client satisfaction surveys.
• Document and resolve client complaints, requests and enquiries promptly.
• Promote SUNU Health self‑service portals (Mobile App, Enrollee Portal).
• Produce and verify enrollee ID cards before delivery.
• Prepare periodic client utilisation reports.
• Grow existing business through referrals to meet financial targets.
• Document client visitation records for NHIA reaccreditation.
• Verify and update enrollee lists on operational software.
• Maintain electronic and hard‑copy client files.
• Monitor contracts and issue renewal notices according to SOP.
• Review premium adjustments based on client needs and budgets.
• Maintain effective relationships with existing and potential customers.
• Execute functions in line with NHIA guidelines and SUNU Health policies.
• Participate in health talks and enlightenment forums.

Required profile

• Degree qualified in Social Sciences or Humanities.
• 1–2 years of relevant experience, preferably in customer service within health‑insurance or a similar organisation.
• Professional certification in client servicing is an advantage.
• Knowledge of health‑insurance industry and regulatory practices.
• Strong communication, problem‑solving and ethical values.

Required skills

• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
