Business Development Specialist

About the role

The Business Development Specialist will drive growth for Flow Valid Systems by identifying new opportunities, building client relationships, and supporting proposal creation. Based in Bariga, Lagos, the role is full‑time and on‑site.

Key responsibilities

• Research market trends and competitor activity to uncover potential business leads.
• Develop and maintain a sales pipeline, prepare quotations and follow‑up with prospects.
• Create and deliver presentations and proposals tailored to client needs.
• Negotiate terms and close deals with new and existing customers.
• Collaborate with internal teams to align solutions with client requirements.
• Report regularly on business development activities and performance metrics.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Economics or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in business development, sales or account management.
• Strong client relationship management, communication and negotiation abilities.
• Ability to work on‑site in Bariga and coordinate with cross‑functional teams.
• NYSC completion is required.

• Proficiency with standard office productivity tools (email, spreadsheets, presentations).
• Comfort using digital collaboration platforms.
