Business Development Officer (Merchant Acquisition)

About the role
The Business Development Officer will drive merchant acquisition for PalmPay’s Flexi MFB products. You will engage business owners across assigned markets, educate them on Pay With Transfer, and support them in opening business accounts. This contractor role focuses on field sales and achieving onboarding targets.
Key responsibilities
- Approach and engage business owners in designated commercial areas.
- Educate customers on the benefits of Pay With Transfer (PWT).
- Onboard and assist merchants in opening business accounts.
- Meet daily and weekly onboarding and transaction targets.
- Promote PalmPay’s products and services during field interactions.
Required profile
- No prior experience required; training will be provided.
- Immediate availability is preferred.
- Must reside in Lagos, Calabar, Onitsha, Enugu, Ekiti or Ogun.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Energetic, confident and target‑driven.
