Business Development Officer

About the role

Engineering Automation Technology Limited is hiring a full-time Business Development Officer based in Lagos, Marina. The role focuses on identifying and developing new business opportunities in the Oil & Gas, Engineering, Energy and related sectors, and securing new contracts.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, research and develop new business opportunities to expand the company's market presence and generate revenue.
• Identify and engage prospective clients, industry stakeholders and strategic partners to explore opportunities and secure new contracts.
• Monitor industry developments, project announcements, procurement plans and market trends to spot potential business opportunities.
• Develop business proposals, presentations and partnership opportunities with relevant departments to support contract acquisition.
• Maintain relationships with existing and prospective clients, track opportunities, monitor progress against business development targets and prepare periodic reports for management.

Required profile

• Minimum HND in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering or another relevant discipline.
• Minimum 2 years' experience in Business Development, Sales, Client Relationship Management or a related field.
• Experience in the Oil & Gas, Engineering or Energy sector is an added advantage.
