Business Development Manager

About the role

The Business Development Manager is responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining strong client relationships, increasing revenue, and driving the company's growth objectives. The role involves market research, strategic planning, lead generation, negotiation, and collaboration with internal teams to achieve business targets.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities, markets, and partnerships.
• Develop and implement effective business development strategies.
• Build and maintain relationships with prospective and existing clients.
• Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify trends and opportunities.
• Prepare and deliver business proposals, presentations, and sales pitches.
• Negotiate contracts and close deals to achieve revenue targets.
• Collaborate with marketing, operations, and customer service teams to ensure client satisfaction.
• Monitor industry developments and provide strategic recommendations.
• Maintain an up‑to‑date sales pipeline and business development reports.
• Represent the company at industry events, exhibitions, and networking functions.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years' experience in business development, sales, or a related role.
• Proven track record of achieving sales and revenue targets.
• Strong negotiation, networking, and relationship management skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
