Business Development Manager

About the role

We are seeking a results‑driven Business Development Manager to lead the sale of our fintech software suite, including core banking applications, SaaS platforms and digital payment solutions. You will work from our Marina office in Lagos, partnering closely with product and engineering teams to deliver tailored technology to financial institutions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute go‑to‑market strategies for fintech software, targeting banks, micro‑finance institutions, cooperatives and fintech firms.
• Own the full sales cycle: prospecting, solution pitching, proposal creation, contract negotiation and deal closure.
• Collaborate with product, engineering and implementation teams to customize solutions and ensure successful deployments.
• Build and nurture relationships with CEOs, CTOs, heads of operations and compliance officers.
• Drive revenue through new client acquisition, upselling, cross‑selling and contract renewals.
• Maintain a robust pipeline, meet or exceed revenue targets and provide regular forecasts and market feedback.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of business development or enterprise sales experience in fintech, software or IT services.
• Proven track record selling technology solutions to financial institutions.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, Information Systems or related field; MBA is a plus.
• Established network within the banking or fintech ecosystem.
• Strong analytical ability and capacity to manage multiple deals in a fast‑paced environment.
