Business Development Executive – Sales & Growth

About the role

Dalt, Nigeria’s verified marketplace for used phones, laptops and accessories, is looking for its first Business Development Executive to drive client acquisition and build a network of campus representatives. You will work on‑the‑ground in Lagos, sourcing bulk buyers, establishing market presence and managing a referral team.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and engage bulk and corporate buyers such as offices, schools and resellers.
• Develop Dalt’s footprint in key locations like Computer Village, university campuses and relevant meet‑ups.
• Recruit, train and oversee a network of student campus representatives who generate sign‑ups.
• Monitor performance metrics, analyse what works and optimise acquisition strategies.

Required profile

• Based in Lagos or able to work on‑site in the city.
• Comfortable with a commission‑driven compensation model.
• Proven ability to persuade and close deals, regardless of formal experience length.
• Experience in sales, business development, referral networks or agency banking is a plus.
