Business Development Executive – Medical Consumables & Equipment

About the role

Emzor Pharmaceutical Industries Limited is seeking a results‑driven Business Development Executive to grow sales of its medical consumables, hospital equipment, furniture and patient‑aid portfolio across the Kano territory. The role focuses on identifying new opportunities, building strong client relationships and achieving sales targets while delivering excellent customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and engage prospective customers through cold calling, networking, referrals and social selling.
• Promote and demonstrate product features, benefits and value propositions to healthcare institutions and other potential buyers.
• Negotiate pricing and contract terms, close sales and meet or exceed assigned targets.
• Build and maintain long‑term relationships with customers to ensure satisfaction and repeat business.
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of product categories, competitor activities and market trends.
• Prepare and submit weekly and monthly sales reports, forecasts and performance updates.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely order fulfillment and customer satisfaction.
• Support market penetration initiatives and identify opportunities to increase product adoption.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Management, Biomedical Engineering, Life Sciences or a related field.
• Proven sales experience in medical equipment, consumables or the broader healthcare industry.
• Understanding of medical consumables, hospital equipment, furniture and patient‑aid products.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience with sales reporting tools.
