Business Development Executive

About the role

The Business Development Executive will drive growth for Wanies Halburt Ltd by identifying and securing new corporate and enterprise opportunities within the retail, fashion and FMCG sectors. You will be responsible for building a robust pipeline, nurturing client relationships, and converting leads into profitable contracts.

Key responsibilities

• Generate leads through industry research, networking, referrals, cold calling, emails and client visits.
• Identify and develop new business opportunities in the corporate and enterprise market.
• Prepare proposals, negotiate contracts and close deals, including purchase orders and strategic partnerships.
• Maintain a healthy sales pipeline and achieve monthly targets.
• Represent the company at industry events, conferences, exhibitions and networking engagements.
• Deliver compelling sales presentations and pitches to potential clients.
• Maintain accurate opportunity records, forecasts and submit weekly sales activity reports.

Required profile

• Minimum HND/BSc in a relevant discipline.
• At least 2 years of experience in business development or B2B sales.
• Proven ability to generate leads and close B2B deals.
• Strong communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills.
• Experience working with corporate clients and senior decision‑makers.
• Self‑motivated, confident and able to work independently.
• Ability to manage multiple opportunities and meet deadlines.
