Business Development Associate, West & Central Africa

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Business Development Associate to generate new sales prospects and contacts, helping to grow Sun King’s business across West & Central Africa.

Key responsibilities

• Prospect and qualify suitable partners, providing business summaries with a focus on B2B sales.
• Maintain an up‑to‑date database of qualified prospects and support the Business Development team with administrative tasks.
• Conduct physical and virtual meetings for training, product demonstrations and onboarding across the region.
• Coordinate partner onboarding by working with cross‑functional teams to ensure smooth client integration.
• Network with industry professionals and associations to strengthen the brand’s presence.
• Monitor industry trends, opportunities and ongoing bids in West & Central Africa.
• Prepare client proposals and manage bid applications as required.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or HND degree from an accredited institution.
• 3–4 years of post‑NYSC experience in a Business Development role.
• Fluent in French at an expert level, both written and verbal.
• Excellent written, verbal and presentation communication skills.
• Strong people, problem‑solving and organizational abilities.
• Willingness to travel as needed.
