Business Analyst – Edutech (Yaba, Lagos)

About the role

The Edutech company based in Lagos is seeking an experienced Business Analyst to support market strategy, business decisions, and sales process optimisation. The role involves analysing sales data, tracking market trends and providing actionable insights to improve business outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Collect, organise and interpret sales data to deliver analysis, decision support and market strategy recommendations.
• Identify market trends, customer needs and business opportunities to shape effective sales strategies.
• Research and monitor competitor actions and market conditions to adjust sales plans.
• Design, create and maintain key data reports and analytical dashboards.
• Assist in developing and managing sales budgets, tracking expenses and providing forecasts.
• Provide data analysis training and support to team members and management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in data analysis, statistics, marketing, business administration or related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in business analysis, market research or sales operations, preferably within the Edutech sector.
• Strong communication, teamwork and project management abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency with data analysis tools such as Excel, Power BI and Tableau.
