About the role
The Block Production Worker supports the daily operations of a block manufacturing yard. This hands‑on role involves moving materials, maintaining a clean and safe work environment, and assisting with the curing process of concrete blocks.
Key responsibilities
- Carry out manual tasks such as moving materials, cleaning, stacking blocks, watering, and tidying aggregates.
- Assist in watering and maintaining the curing block yard.
- Help receive aggregates and keep the stockyard organized.
- Maintain cleanliness and safety in block production areas.
- Report safety hazards or machine problems immediately.
- Wear required protective gear at all times (boots, gloves, helmet, mask, vest).
- Attend safety briefings and training sessions.
- Be punctual, reliable, and present throughout shifts.
Required profile
- Minimum High School (S.S.C.E) qualification.
- Basic reading and writing skills.
- 0–1 year of experience (entry‑level).
- Physically fit and able to work in a dusty, outdoor environment.
- Willingness to work hard and follow instructions.
