Bid/Tender Specialist

About the role

The Bid/Tender Specialist will work on‑site in Lagos, supporting ZGL’s procurement and marine logistics business by identifying and pursuing tender opportunities in the Nigerian oil and gas sector.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor tender portals, industry publications and client announcements to capture relevant opportunities.
• Analyse tender documents, interpret technical and commercial requirements, and ensure compliance with client and regulatory standards.
• Coordinate end‑to‑end bid preparation, gathering inputs from procurement, finance, engineering and marine logistics teams.
• Draft, format and submit bid proposals, maintaining accurate records and managing submission timelines.
• Support post‑tender clarifications and continuously improve bid templates and processes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain or related field (preferred).
• Proven experience in bid/tender management within oil & gas or maritime sectors.
• Strong analytical, research and project coordination abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Attention to detail and quality‑assurance mindset.
• Knowledge of Nigerian oil and gas industry regulations.
